"Amazing dimsum place, definitely not overhyped. There's still quite a queue even at 10am. You order by taking a table number and a tray from the stuff, and pick any dimsum you want from their wide range of selection. They will steam it and sent it to your table. They have multiple stores with seating area around the block, some seatings stores are opposite the road.
They also have a bakkutteh store which I highly recommend to give it a try. The soup is a bit different from what we usually have in Malaysia, but still very delicious. Best part is definitely their pork cuts inside, super tender and soft, literally melts in your mouth.
Highly recommend getting more of their Thai specialty dimsum instead of classic ones you usually see in Malaysia for a more unique experience. Some highlights includes the steam cob and meat dimsum, various types of siewmai, and glutinous rice chicken. Their har gao is a flop tho, dry and tasteless, can skip it.

"A wide variety of dim sum options at very affordable prices, a table full of food for four cost us only 700 THB. Service was great and the space itself was roomy and comfortable.
However, one downside I would say was the staff's overwhelming presence. We were the only customers at the time, and over 10 staff members gathered closely around our table, watching us intently. I understand they wanted to provide prompt service, but it felt a bit excessive, a little more personal space for us would be so much better 😂"

"This place offers variety of Chinese style dim sum & Bak Kut Teh (Chinese clay pot sup with pork). Pricing wise is reasonable, but some time it might crowded with tourists from other province & Malaysia. Parking are plenty, park free at roadside, but beware! do not park at red white line or against the traffic as your car will be locked by traffic police & unlocking fee is whooping 1000baht!!
They have another hall opposite their outlet, customer can take seat at either side & order food they want."

Chokdee Tae Dim Sum is known for serving dim sum at just ฿20 a tray, so it was no surprise that it had gathered a crowd when we headed over early in the morning. Once our table number was allocated, a metal tray was given to us. Fresh dim sum is displayed on a counter and all you have to do is start piling them up on your tray!
