What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners consistently praise Ogen for its authentic and flavorful Middle Eastern cuisine, with the hummus and mixed grill being particular highlights. The generous portions and attentive, friendly staff contribute to a positive dining experience. However, a few reviews mention issues with service competence and a condescending attitude, though these seem to be isolated incidents.
"We had a lovely meal here. The food was excellent and the service very good too.
Greek salad, falafel and hummus all so tasty.
Really nice touch with complimentary dishes to start the meal off too. Extensive menu.
The staff were attentive and friendly.
We knew the food would be good because of the reviews but we were also pleasantly surprised about how good the cocktails were. We had a Negroni and An Old Fashioned and these were excellent.
Overall we had a lovely evening. Definitely recommend!!"

"Middle Eastern restaurant, the best hummus I've ever tried. Super creamy!!! We tried the Bolognese hummus and it was delicious. They put out boards with several different types of pickles at the beginning as a courtesy. Everything is very good, the plates are large, and the service is fast!
The staff is very attentive and friendly. And the restaurant area is nice too. They also have an air-conditioned lounge if you prefer, although outside on the patio is very nice because there are fans in every corner. Highly recommended!"

"We heard about this restaurant from a friend who had visited and simply raved about the food. He wasn't wrong! The food is simply delicious. The best Mediterranean food we've had during our travels. The hummus is so creamy and delicious, the salads are freshly cut and so tasty and the service is very good. We had several dishes and every single one was spot on! I would definitely recommend this place and we will be back for sure."

Restaurants in Hua Hin
This Israeli-run joint brings a mouthwatering taste of the Levant to Thailand's most venerable beach enclave. While the smoky aroma of meat, fish, and kebabs grilling over charcoal make this a heaven for carnivores, vegans are equally well-fed with a selection of salads, dips, and righteous falafel and hummus plates.
Where to eat, drink, stay, and play in Hua Hin
Hidden in the shadows of nondescript hotels on Petchkasem Soi 94 is Ogen (open daily 11am-10pm). Though not much on the eyes—it’s little more than a room with shiny white tile floors and some outside tables along the street—this new-ish Middle Eastern and Mediterranean restaurant is a total gem. From the juicy lamb kofta (sets served with hummus, pita, tabbouleh, and French fries; B440) to the crispy-on-the-outside, tender-on-the-inside falafel (pita sandwich served with French fries; B180), everything is great here.
