"Rim Talay, is the flagship restaurant at the Amari Phuket. It sits at a stunning beach front site on the property. Indoor and outdoor seating abounds, with breathtaking views of Patong Beach and the Andaman Sea. The place is airy, comfortable and inviting. The restaurant serves a buffet breakfast (included in the room rate) every day, that encompasses a spread of Thai, Chinese, Western and Indian items. It is also open for lunch and dinner, with a 20-page picture filled menu of every selection. Here too, while the accent is on Thai Cuisine, there are selections of Chinese, Western and Indian dishes. The food (and service) here is so good, that you can eat here daily. Every night, there is a themed dinner buffet. I tried it on one night and it was super (see my pictures of that and the breakfast buffet). I know I will eat here again. There. Is something unparalleled about Thai Cuisine (full of robust flavors, textures and tastes) and the ensuing hospitality (the friendly warmth of the Thai staff). Every time I visited, it was a memorable experience."

"two star are for the location, which is worth five stars but the fried fish in tamarind and garlic is all spine, guts & head. Those ltttle guys, normally delights have no crisp. They are sad and made me too sad to eat. The chicken rice is dry. This place need to do better. even if this restaurant offered me a free meal i'm not sure i'd take it. prolly try to use the credit as drinks"
