"It is a in the forest cafe. The staff can understand a little bit English. Do not worry they have English menu as well. The most impressive place I guess it is on the second floor a small table surrounded by a bit tree which made you feel like you are sitting in the jungle. So very harmony between human and nature. Also the green milk tea is very good and rainbow cake with Passion fruit sauce is yummy and good looking. You can take lots of fresh style photos. Please take a rest at this interesting cafe."

"Nice atmosphere. Very serene setting. Great view from the 2nd level overlooking the Nan River. We had coffee and the cold drinks were tasty. We also had an awesome dessert of honey bread, fruit and ice cream we all shared. I probably wouldn't recommend it for seniors on the 2nd level as the stairs are bit tough to climb for them. All in all, great hidden gem."

We were driving along near the river when we saw a sign for Café Sood Gong Dee, after spending the last two days looking for a hidden rustic café, of which we had assumed Nan would be full of, this sign made us happy. We questioned whether we were about to get our perfect café experience in Nan, the town that had so far been rather disappointing. There is a car park at the café, but it seems at first as if you are driving into someone’s garden.
