They also serve their own house beer in cans, which adds a nice touch to the experience. It would be even better if their house beer was also available as a fresh draft, to enjoy it at its best.

"A fantastic place with a huge choice of beers. Historic building and quirky decor - never seen so many ducks ! Super friendly owner too - very down to earth for an international tv star 😀 - and a nice pub dog as a bonus. An absolute must visit if you like beer that's not the usual lager etc. As a lover of micropubs at home in the UK, this was like a home from home. Been in the general area for 8 days and this was easily the best place I've been to."

I recommend stopped into Cozy Cafe, which has a divey atmosphere that I kind of love. Their beer menu is pretty average, but the bartender is friendly. For craft beer, I prefer De Gouse Eend, which is considered by many to be the best beer bar in Gouda.
