What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Stadsherberg De Mol offers a highly immersive medieval dining experience that truly transports guests back in time, complete with costumed actors, live music, and hands-on eating. While the unique atmosphere and interactive entertainment are consistently praised, some reviews mention inconsistencies in food quality, with dishes sometimes being overcooked or portions feeling small. Service can also be a point of contention, with some guests experiencing slow service or issues with drink refills.
"Amazing and very authentic place! We had super friendly waiter and service was beyond any expectations! Food is very tasty and fulfilling, ribs were excellent 👌"

"I really enjoy the atmosphere, but ribs were quite burnt... They were definitely better the last time i visited a month ago. The quality of food seems to be inconsistent each visit.
I had made a order via email as they requested 2 days prior, but was somehow missed and ended up having to go for a more expensive set choice, which seems rather suspicious. Also, watch out for the 3 euro tap water without warning, that was quite a surprise to us.
I was planning on bringing a much larger group in the future, but that's no longer the plan after tonight, which is incredibly unfortunate since I really hoped for a better experience similar to what I've had on my previous visit."

"The food was average, but you don't come here for the food. You come here for the fun, and there's a lot of that to be had here. You never have to wait long for your next beer, and yhere's many a song to be sang."

Secret Delft: 15 hidden spots in Delft that you must see
Stadsherberg De Mol is a unique restaurant housed within one of the oldest buildings in Delft. This building, which luckily survived the medieval fire that burned down much of the city, was once used for housing the homeless as well as an orphanage. Today, it’s home to a medieval-themed restaurant that I’ve heard that is quite the experience that involves eating by candlelight and with your hands.
10 x verborgen restaurants in Delft
