"Absolutely fantastic cafe. Gorgeous espresso beverages with alternative milks available. Gluten free friendly options available for all of the sandwiches and other options. Creative choices and interesting flavours.
They were chock full of customers when we arrived at 1:15 PM yet still found what might have been the last table available for us. I would suggest they might have been a bit understaffed for the lunch rush, but were definitely trying very hard to keep up. I hope management sees this review. Your waitstaff needed more help today, but they did fantastic under the circumstances.
Desserts were beautiful. Would love to have had a gluten free cheesecake option. Enjoyed the GF peanut butter cup.

"We stopped in for lunch and shared a huge club sandwich!! It was stacked with four different types of meats!! We loved it so much that we came in for breakfast and got the chorizo sausage skillets and it was also amazing! Definitely one of the best places to eat if you're in Bonnavista!
It does get busy but that's because there's only one person working the entire front of the house. So please be patient with them. You may have to wait but they have amazing customer service!"

"We got appetizers and mains and two desserts. The french onion soup was not much to write home about. It was a little lacking in terms of seasoning. The seafood chowder was good. Our mains, lobster pasta and chicken pot pie were close to perfection. The lobster was fresh and sweet. The pasta was homemade and cooked to al dente. The butter sauce could use a bit more butter. I loved the carrot making it sweet. The chicken pot pie had good pie crust. The dessert was perhaps our biggest letdown. Our lemon meringue had gritty meringue with not much flavour. The lemon curd could use more lemon flavour and bit less gelatine/ coagulation agent. And its pie could use more butter. The ambience was lovely with phenomenal view of an iceberg that day. Service was fast and friendly."
