"We attended on a weekday for a birthday lunch and the service was superb.
The mixed oyster plate was fabulous and the Thai chilli lime oysters with coriander were amazing!
The chef even gave me a lovely chocolate brownie birthday cake with a candle. It was divine.
Highly recommend this restaurant for your special occasion."

"If I could do 3.5 stars I would. This is a beautiful restaurant and the food is quite nice, but there were just a few misses that stood out and would’ve made the experience so much better. The woman that greeted us was timid and not very confident in the menu (which I do understand, I’ve worked hospo a long time and know that confidence can take a while) and we were very rushed to get orders in (asked twice within first 5 minutes of sitting down). Now the entrees were fantastic, bigger portions than expected and the squid was cooked to perfection. Can’t fault them. Unfortunately this is as good as it gets. The mains were small, and although flavourful, were NOT worth the price. Not to mention when I ordered and asked for an extra skewer the manager/man taking our order actually suggested that I don’t, saying there was already one skewer that comes with it. I wanted two, not just one and he ended up leaving it off the order anyway so I had to ask for it again. The skewer was one scallop and two small prawns, whereas he’d made it out that I wouldn’t even be able to finish one single skewer and that I was crazy to ask for extra despite only getting half a cray. The half cray tail was good but also quite small. Again, if it didn’t cost about $90 and the add on skewer, I wouldn’t have minded the smaller portions. My partner got the snapper which was $40 and was just two very small snapper crusted filets with barely anything else on the plate except some leaves and sauce. With the entrees being so large it seems like a bit of a money grab when it comes to the mains. The food was nice enough though and cooked well. Just a shame about the other parts."

"This is my 4th time back to the kalgoorlie Cray! The food is absolutely incredible. I was blown away with the lunch time 3 course meal option. The serves were huge, and the quality and taste is to die for! 3 course meal of that quality with a complimentary drink for only $54.90 is such a bargain. Also we had great customer service from a young blonde lady. She was lovely and polite."
