"With a 5-star hotel brand, the expectation for food quality and service is naturally high. We had dinner on Friday night, which was advertised as a seafood and steak night. Sadly, the seafood options were very limited—only broiled and cold prawns, and white clams (no fresh oysters).
At the grill station, the grilled fish was served cold and tasteless. The grilled freshwater giant prawns ran out around 7:30–8:00 pm, even while customers were still arriving, and were replaced with regular grilled prawns that were not fresh at all (the meat was soft and falling apart).
The sushi section had more variety, but the taste was average. Overall, there weren’t many choices, and drinks were not included. The dessert section had more variety. If you have a sweet tooth, you would love it. However, paying 280++ for this quality is not worth it.
Service was also lacking—staff did not clear used plates from our table promptly.
The atmosphere and toilets were clean, but overall, the experience was below expectations."

"A Beautiful Restaurant that enhances the local beauty. Location is easy to access, with professional and welcoming valet services. Lobby with a view. Easy to reach from the lobby, their all-day dining. Pretty ambiance, dimmed lights where the buffet is. It was not that crowded, nice seats by the window.
The breakfast buffet itself is very strong with food variety. Local flavors are emphasized as well, and you can find major breakfast items of each major culture. Loved the fact that they had 100% gluten-free items on the buffet. So you do not have to ask and feel awkward. Healthy options are highlighted, but they have ice cream variations too. I eat soups for breakfast and love the fact that they put an effort into making delicious soup, even though it is not a popular choice. A lot of items that you will not see in other places were present, so again, a big variety. Chefs were very approachable and helpful. Food is delicious, each item on the buffet was so tasty, you can see a lot of effort put. The chef passing around and offering some food items was something unique. We had a really nice breakfast.
It was a nice choice of a restaurant and time for us, as we are with a toddler, and in some places you do not feel that comfortable, or the atmosphere is too hectic for small kids. Here, even our small one had a great time and enjoyed breakfast. Ahmed and Dixon made our experience even more delightful. Service is great and what you would expect from Shangri-La."
