Reviews Summary
Brig O'Don offers a friendly and cozy pub experience with attentive staff and generally good food. While many praise dishes like the Sunday roast and fish and chips, some reviews mention inconsistencies in food preparation, such as burnt elements or overcooked ingredients, and a few find the prices a bit high for the quality received. Despite these minor critiques, the overall sentiment is positive, highlighting the welcoming atmosphere and good service.
"Went online this afternoon and made a very quick and simple reservation for early evening. The service was very quick and first class and the food was excellent.
We had the Haggis Fritters for starters and then we all opted for the steak and ale pie which was fantastic. And the food was all served lovely and hot which we like.
Excellent service from Klaudia and Alice.
We will definitely be back."

"The place was empty at 8 pm so didn’t really catch the vibe of what it’s like when folks are there but the staff was top notch. But Food was pricey for how enjoyable it was. I don’t mind paying more for food but it has to pass the taste muster. The mushy peas were good tho.
Immaculate clean. This pub more than anywhere in Aberdeen reminded me of suburban American restaurants."

"Lovely pud/restaurant. Has a nice atmosphere inside, which we really enjoyed. It is relatively clean and doesn’t have much wear and tear which is rare to see. The food is good but at the same time average depending on what you order. The members of staff are friendly and do check on their customers. The interior is to my taste for such place, the style is maintained throughout which is nice to see. Some sitting areas have windows near them which is nice but there are also darker area to sit at like the bar and the middle, additionally there is an outside area with heating lamps. The squid wasn’t bad, the sauce that it came with was lovely but it wasn’t fully cleaned off as it still had that rubbery line which can be removed which made it chewy. They sell a wide range of non alcoholic drinks and drinks that are alcohol in a way but 0%. The salmon with potatoes wasn’t bad and the sauce that came with it was lovely. However the salmon was so crispy/cooked at the top that it was hard to chew through. The prices are reasonable. The dessert was nice but for me a bit too sweet."

Visited here twice in a week, had the chargrilled chicken kebab first time and loved it. Tried to order it again but they'd run out of chicken so I had the prawns - they were disappointing. I think they had a different chef in cuz the rice wasn't as good and they'd overcooked the prawns - still good though, I'd go again if in the area
