"Outstanding food all round. Despite poor weather be had an outdoor space with an umbrella and heater. Good vibe and happy fellow scouser server. Good selection of drinks and loaded fries with dips on the side are a winner. Authentic pizza is also special. Definitely worth a visit over neighbouring pubs."

The Tap Yard has plenty of outdoor seating and plenty of indoors. Food prices are very good for what you are getting and I must say food quality is really good. I had a margarita pizza and an Oreo Sunday with a drink and tip for £25 food was delicious. There are quite a few choices on the menu to suit almost anyone.
I will definitely go back."

"Visited twice during our stay in Ambleside. The first just for drinks and the second for an evening meal (for which we booked a table in advance). The staff are great, and do well to cope with the volume of tables they have to look after. Great choice of beer, although the wine is a little limited but what they have is good quality. The food was delicious! Would recommend the pizzas which are a good size and packed full of very tasty toppings."
