"Amazing Food and Service!
The food here is absolutely delicious. I had the tasting menu. The fish was super fresh and just melted in my mouth. The black cod was perfectly cooked, flaking beautifully, and the miso soup was surprisingly one of my favorites—it was outstanding!
Naomi, our waitress, was excellent. She gave great recommendations and made sure everything was served with a great pacing.
I’ll definitely be coming back!"

"We had our anniversary meal there on a Saturday night. My husband must have put it in our reservation as our server mentioned it which I thought was a nice considerate touch.
The food came quickly & was delicious, we weren’t that hungry but demolished it all very quickly.
We did opt for pudding, mochi & the cheesecake, both very tasty & a good size to finish the meal.
I had a mocktail & it was tasty though a little strong, like squash that hadn’t been diluted enough.
I did get a little cold as the evening progressed, I think we were right in the movement of the air conditioning but I’d rather than than be too hot.
It’s not cheap but the quality is definitely worth the price.
Definitely recommend 👍👍"

The George Street gem is named after Kangaki Robun, a Japanese author whose book introduced the concept of yakiniku – the art of grilling meat, seafood and vegetables over traditional charcoal fire – to Japan in 1872. Perched between lunchtime bento boxes, ramen and katsu, and an extensive dinner menu (including a set menu of three courses for £26.50), is Robun’s unusual take on afternoon tea.
