Reviews Summary

Coco is a highly-regarded restaurant in Belfast, praised for its unreal food quality and attentive service that creates a memorable dining experience. Diners particularly love the creative dishes and the unique, quirky atmosphere. However, some guests have noted that the restaurant can get very warm, and there have been occasional inconsistencies with steak preparation.

"We visited Coco during a weekend in Belfast. What a gem this place is!
The food was unreal. Every single dish we had as a group of 8, was absolutely delicious. Some of us even ended up having 3 courses as we didn’t want to miss out of tasting the desserts.
The service was brilliant with staff constantly checking in if you wanted anything and ensuring your wine was topped up.
It’s well worth a visit!"

"Pre-theatre dinner on a Wednesday night with wife and sis-in-law. Food was excellent. I chose the sweet potato and coconut soup for starter which was delicious. The maitre d approached and asked if my soup was hot enough as someone else had complained it wasn't. I explained mine could be warmer but was superb and I was more than happy. She was happy to accept this. For mains I ordered the steak and kidney pie but when it arrived the size of pie was tiny certainly compared to my wife's pork and SILs schnitzel. The maitre d seeing my face came over to ask if everything was ok. She too was shocked at size of pie serving and took the plate away. She returned a few minutes later with another piece of pie on top and explained the small piece was the pre-theatre menu serving😮. Anyway the food was delicious, the service was brilliant.. especially the female maitre d who was just amazing...thank you.
My only gripe a, it can be very warm in the restaurant."

"It had been years since I had visited Coco. What a wonderful surprise! The decor was quite unique, with original paintings. The artist paints fantastical animals with clown type faces! Very original. We both chose Christmas dinner. Although the restaurant was busy, the food was excellent. Presented in an attractive way. Although we arrived early in the morning evening, there was a good number of other diners so there was a good atmosphere. The music was the right volume and Christmas songs, which added to the ambiance. So many places have the music being played too loudly. Would we return? Definitely!!"
