What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners overwhelmingly praise Bonehead for its exceptional fried chicken, often calling it the best in Birmingham. The cool, rock-themed atmosphere and good selection of craft beers are also frequently highlighted. Some patrons note potential waits during busy periods and a small venue size, but the quality of food and friendly service generally outweigh these minor concerns.
"The food is by far some of the BEST that my son and I have had while we were there and even had from the States. The flavor and quality of the chicken and crisp is just perfectly done. The waffle fries also have tremendous flavor as well. This place is a MUST STOP while in the area to experience...."

"Came in here during a few days break in Birmingham and I had heard good things about this place.
Me and my partner had a burger each and a sharer dirty fries. Burgers were awesome and huge and the sharer was really nice as well.
They have a nice selection of guest beers to choice from advertised on the wall near the bar.
Staff were friendly and food came out quick and well-presented. We sat downstairs but there is an upstairs seating area for when it gets busier I am guessing.
The place has an alternative look with posters of many rock/metal bands on the walls and a place were i guess punters put photos which is cool.
I will come back here again, Lovely little place."

"Boneheaded is the best fried chicken I have ever had. Period. I honestly can’t emphasise enough how much I love this place. Love the atmosphere and the moody decor; staff are always quick to hand and attentive; food is outstanding - cooked perfectly and incredibly well seasoned. Check out the pictures, they speak for themselves. My go to is the buffalo soldier doubled up with cinema waffle fries (not pictured).
It’s walk in only, and 100% worth a visit, repeatedly!
Don’t skip this place if in Birmingham, you’ll regret it!"
