What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Eat Vietnam is praised for its authentic and inventive Vietnamese cuisine, with stand-out dishes like crispy pork belly and the unique marmite peanut butter cauliflower. While the unassuming exterior might surprise some, the vibrant flavors and cozy atmosphere win diners over. Some reviews note a shift in food quality over time, but many still find it to be a fantastic foodie experience.
"Brilliant place. Makes me laugh at other reviewers talking about the size/location, to me that's part of the joy! 10 years ago, High Streets were dead. Now places like Stirchley are buzzing with life! We are so lucky to be able to go to our local high street and get a taste the world. We are so lucky to have businesses that make the best of what our local neighbourhoods have to offer. This isn't a luxury mod-con town restaurant, it's hearty, it's local, it's global, it's perfect. Absolutely delicious!"

"Have visited a few times and always enjoy trying the specials here. Offers a good variety of dishes with great tastes. Particularly enjoyed the crispy belly pork, skewers and spring rolls on today’s visit."

"This is a place you will need to book in advance. They used to charge a £20 deposit but they don't take this payment upfront anymore. They will charge if you don't turn up I guess.
The food is delicious and we particularly enjoyed the crispy pork belly and courgette dish. The mains were ok (chicken noodles) but I'd say the food from the specials board stole the show.
I have been here a few times now over the last few years and feel that it's somewhat different. Can't quite place my finger on it though mind.
Overall however tasty food and friendly staff."

That can't be said for trendy Stirchley restaurant Eat Vietnam, where Marmite forms a major part of its chicken wing offering. Marmite peanut butter wings (poultry or cauliflower, if you're so inclined) are £10 a portion and I was visiting the much hyped restaurant for the very first time solely to try the dish after seeing it online.
