We especially enjoyed the deeply savoury truffle ravioli, while the tagliolini with lobster was pure Italian indulgence.

Most of the staff are Spanish and the service is fun and friendly.

Fumo Birmingham is owned by the hugely successful San Carlo umbrella that operates many modern Italian eateries around the UK. Located on Waterloo Street, Fumo’s menu is based around ‘Chichetti’: Venetian tapas like Sicilian prawns and slow-roasted pork belly. Five to six dishes are recommended per couple and is by reservation only.

While this is not a dedicated seafood restaurant, Fumo is definitely worth a visit. They have a range of meats, pastas, pizzas, salads, streetfood, and of course fish options. Some of these fish options include Halibut, Sea Bass, Scallops, Prawns, and Cod.
