Reviews Summary

Stefani's Pizzeria is a highly-regarded, family-run establishment celebrated for its exceptional wood-fired pizzas and cozy, authentic Italian atmosphere. Diners frequently praise the friendly service, the quality of the ingredients, and the delicious flavors. However, a few negative reviews mention issues with pizza dough texture and taste, with one reviewer describing it as the worst pizza ever.

"I'd been meaning to try this place for some time, finally had lunch here just after the New Year, and am so glad I did! It's an excellent family run pizzeria in a good central location close to the Winter Gardens. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. It's only a small place, and although it was quiet when I arrived around noon, it soon filled up! It has all the rustic decor and homely atmosphere of a small family run restaurant in Italy. Good selection of starters and garlic bread, and an amazing variety of wood fired pizzas. You can create your own pizza from a choice of toppings, and there's also a vegan menu. I chose the Little Italy pizza (with homemade sausage meat, black olives and peppers). It was cooked to perfection, the base was crispy at the edges and softer in the middle, and the topping had a delicious authentic Italian flavour. They offer a good choice of Italian craft beers, ciders and wine, but I tried the pink lemonade cocktail, and it proved to be a tangy and refreshing accompaniment to the pizza. Finished with a very light and delicious tiramisu and a cappuccino. Quick service and a very attentive waitress who kept coming back to check that everything was okay. Prices were reasonable too. Would certainly recommend!"

"Amazing, amazing place. The staff are magnificent and caring. The pizza was so good. It was fresh, generous toppings and so good. I also had the chicken thighs and I don't know what seasoning they used, but it was succulent, crispy, flavoursome. Just a great place."

"I'm very sorry but this is the worst pizza I've ever eaten. we ordered two pizzas... a disaster. The dough is soft and looks raw. It's like chewing gum. pizza tastes like burnt garbage. The pizza smells like a dirty oven. This pizza tastes like a dirty pancake. I highly do not recommend it."

Having mentioned my pizza snobishness, you know this one won’t disappoint. Stefanis is another family-run gem, and it imports most of its ingredients from the home of pizza itself – Naples!. It’s a small place inside, but in summer they open up onto the square so you can enjoy your meal whilst people-watching.
