What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Imperial Hotel is praised for its grand historic architecture, prime seafront location, and the warmth of its staff. While many guests enjoy the classic Victorian charm and the value for money, some reviews mention that the decor and furnishings are dated and in need of refurbishment. Despite minor aesthetic concerns, the cleanliness, comfortable beds, and attentive service contribute to a positive overall experience.
"What a beautiful hotel. It's lovely to see the historic building been well cared for
The service was great and the staff was so helpful. We had breakfast and lunch dinner, and the food was cooked
beautifully, and the quality of food was to a high standard 😋. As a full-time carer for my hubby, who is a wheelchair user, the table service at Dinner was lovely it gave me a rest.
The only negative feedback is having to pay for disabled parking £10. 00 per night."

"It's in a good location, just a 10 min walk from the main Blackpool strip. It's Blackpool so you can't be expecting luxury from an old Victorian hotel... But I didn't expect to see vomit on the window sill of the stairs... Didn't look fresh either.
The rooms are comfortable enough but the hotel is a little dirty
The staff were all lovely and friendly, can't fault them at all.
Car parking is on a first come basis so get there early if you can. It also costs £10.
Dogs allowed in hotel but you have to pay a surcharge. They are not allowed in the restaurant though.
Overall.. not a bad hotel for Blackpool"

"Second time around we've stayed here.
Very reasonable price for the two of us for two nights with breakfast.
Being honest, the room and some parts of the hotel are a bit worn.
Obviously, I know it's a very old building and it takes time and money to improve.
But everything was clean, beds where comfortable.
Food at breakfast was very good, beautiful breakfast and dining area.
I could complain about the fee for parking, but looking around the area for alternative parking, the hotel fee was ok."
