Chain restaurants don’t often make an appearance on here, but I need to make an exception for Turtle Bay. I’ve been to a couple of their branches around the country and the food has been exceptional. I ordered the Vegan Motherclucker burger; a fried ‘chicken’ style patty, stacked with smashed avo & jerk tomato sauce – sensational!

Having only opened recently in Bournemouth, Turtle Bay has Caribbean food down to a T. It is located just under the new Citrus building which is a short walk from Chesil House so it is a perfect location for those of you who are new to the town. They also have an excellent array of cocktails that you should definitely try.

Happy Hour at Turtle Bay offers 2 for 1 cocktails all day 10am – 7pm and 9.30pm until close (10pm until close at the weekend). What more excuse do you need to sample some of the great tasting cocktails and mocktails on the menu. Why not enjoy brunch as well during your visit.

Turtle Bay is a Jamaican restaurant in the former Wintergardens on Old Christchurch Road, Bournemouth. They have an excellent Rum and Cocktail bar. Each night is 2 for 1 cocktail night, starting at 9:30 pm in the week and 10 pm at weekends.

My first experience of a bottomless brunch and I am so glad I picked Turtle Bay. The food selections were vast and they all sounded amazing. The option I picked tasted fantastic.
