The Burgers Brothers, located right in the centre of Brighton in North Road, is one of the city’s best burger joints. The two owners, who have come together with a joint passion for high-quality food, have established a must-try burger restaurant. Classic beef burgers come with creative vegetarian options, such as Our Favourite, with goat cheese, roasted peppers and honey mustard.

One of our favourite things to come out of Brighton in recent years is a love for burgers, and there are a small number of independent establishments offering some of the best burgers you'll find here in the UK. A personal favourite of Cat, one of my fellow content writers, is Burger Brothers. These guys come highly recommended and at the time of writing they are currently the number one rated restaurant / establishment in Brighton on Trip Advisor, that’s not a bad record to hold.

Burger Brothers, or “BB” to those in the loop, appears at the top of this list for good reason. Even before its official designation as the home of Britain’s Best Burger in 2016, this tiny but buzzing spot in the North Laines had already secured legend status amongst Brightonians in the know. The customer service you receive upon entry is almost scandalously friendly and laid-back considering the hoard of people both inside and outside the restaurant.

Bigger isn’t always better but the big, beefy burgers they lovingly griddle at Burger Brothers are just about the best you’re going to find in Brighton. Toppings range from mayo and Monterey Jack to wasabi mayo and blue Stilton, but the team’s commitment to cooking each patty to the correct level of doneness doesn’t waiver.

Ok, so Nadz Nwokoro and Pip Ravindra aren’t brothers in the fraternal sense, and their burger venture isn’t strictly a restaurant - ok, it’s a takeaway - but any rundown of Brighton’s best eating emporiums would be redundant without this award-winning burger joint. Award-winning, you say?. Aye, it came top of the pile at the recent Britain’s Best Burger competition, sponsored by Hellmann’s.

With a top ranking on Trip Advisor, Burger Brothers have won numerous accolades for their ridiculously decadent patties and buns, including ‘Best Burger’ at the Food and Drink Awards. They offer meat and veggie options, but controversially, no chips!. Be warned, these burgers are sumptuously messy.
