Reviews Summary

Seven Lucky Gods is lauded for its vibrant atmosphere, inspired by Tokyo's izakaya bars, and its delicious Japanese small plates and sushi. Diners consistently praise the attentive and friendly service, which contributes to a memorable dining experience. While most reviews highlight the quality and flavor of the food, some patrons note that portion sizes can be small relative to the price, and recommend asking for recommendations.

"Craving great tasting Japanese Bar food and a delicious small plate experience? Seven Lucky Gods serves it up best. Every dish was packed with exquisite Japanese flavours. The Sichuan Fried Cauliflower small plate was delicious, and the service service was very good too. Accessibility Rating ♿️ as there is a flight of stairs to access the restaurant."

Ian Hendricks

"Popped here for lunch. The staff was friendly, sat us down and said it's usually about 5 plates for 2 people. So we just ordered 6 plates between the two of us.
The plates started coming fairly quickly. I enjoyed every single one of them, especially the Korean Fried Chicken was superbly good.
The prices are generally what I expect from a tapas place, on average we spent about £10 per plate, but we were definitely both full at the end of it.
Definitely will be popping here again!"

Andrej Zacharenkov

"A great dining experience and impeccable service. The staff are incredibly attentive, the spicy tuna roll and salmon sushi are fresh and expertly prepared, as are the curried chips, katsu arancini and the seaweed salad. A must-visit spot for great food and genuinely warm hospitality."

The 8 Best Gluten-Free Asian Restaurants in Bristol

Went here a couple months ago with a voucher that we were given over Christmas. My girlfriend has a sesame allergy, which we found out was the one allergy that couldn't be catered for, but unfortunately we had no choice. Our waiter, who was also the manager, was incredible and made sure we could try as many dishes as possible, with the additional issue of me being gluten-free.
