"Was looking for somewhere a bit different to have lunch on a short visit to Buxton, and this café caught my eye! I was greeted by a friendly and smiley young waitress who made me feel really welcome. The café was very busy, almost full, but she found me a table close to the entrance. I loved the cosy but vibrant atmosphere, and the colourful Indian decor with its intricate artwork and abundant floral decoration. Family friendly and dog friendly. The toilets are up a flight of stairs, but they were clean and well kept. There was lots of choice on the menu, from street food to imaginative main courses, and breakfasts with an Indian twist. I ordered the Desi English Breakfast, which combined the familiar British bacon, sausage, fried egg and mushrooms with potatoes flavoured with cumin and a bowl of masala spiced beans. Well cooked, with just the right level of spiciness, and ample portions. There was a wide choice of unusual and creative hot and cold drinks, but I opted for the straight latte, and it was very good. Pity I was so full, because there was a tempting selection of cakes and pastries to try. Service was both quick and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable. I was so glad I found this place! Would happily recommend!"
