What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Botanist Chester is celebrated for its striking decor, lively atmosphere, and inventive botanical cocktails. Many diners rave about the signature hanging kebabs and the friendly, helpful service. However, some reviews mention inconsistencies in food preparation and service attentiveness, and occasional concerns about the cleanliness of facilities.
"Amazing cocktails, watching the mixologists was a show! Food was amazing too, great selection. Booked online really easily and had a great night. Atmosphere was very enjoyable, and live music added to the atmosphere."
Cath Hancox
"Held my 18th birthday party here, and had a great time! The atmosphere was amazing with good background music, and the service by the waitresses were great!!
Took 30 friends for a meal, and spent about £500 overall. Individually, the food was quite expensive, but you do get quite a lot for what you've ordered.
I do recommend visiting if the menu is your style of food, but if not, I recommend visiting solely for the atmosphere as the inside of the two-floored restaurant was beautiful!"
Ash Imya
"Located down a lovely walk through in Chester. Beautiful inside well worth a visit. Unfortunately didn't have the time to stay today but will return. It was lovely."
