Reviews Summary
Potters Cafe Bistro is celebrated for its friendly and attentive staff, cozy atmosphere, and delicious food, particularly its homemade dishes and excellent coffee. While many rave about the quality and portion sizes, some diners have found certain dishes to be bland or not worth the price, and accessibility can be a challenge for those with larger strollers or mobility issues.
"Bit of a squeeze, but we managed to get a pushchair in. Staff and food are both amazing. Great ambience and fireplace. They even made me a special baguette to meet my dietary requirements - not much effort but very appreciated. Will always eat here when we visit Dorchester."

"Cute cafe with Fantastic food: my lamb tagine with red pepper couscous was really tasty (and hot) and her salmon and asparagus quiche was freshly baked and had a lovely salad and new boiled spuds with lots of butter. Really friendly cafe full of families and others. Some sat outside but we stayed indoors. The cakes looked great as well, but we didn’t have room, sadly. Recommend."

"All staff very friendly, smiley and engaging with the customers. Really nice atmosphere, outside sitting is also lovely ! ( would be good idea to put a net or something, as we had dry leaves and branches falling into out food )
unfortunately, the food fell very short, all the food was quite bland, it was quite disappointing as it looked really promising ! Not worth what we paid for.
It's also not very child friendly, if you have a bigger buggy you will struggle very much, doors are small, but also a lot of steps. Toilets are upstairs, which can be quite difficult to get there in certain situations."
