Reviews Summary

Hub Box Exeter is praised for its delicious, award-winning burgers and a wide range of gluten-free and vegan options, making it a top choice for many. The laid-back atmosphere and friendly service, particularly from staff like Ellie and Grace, enhance the dining experience. However, some diners have noted inconsistencies with food temperature, cleanliness, and slow service during peak times, impacting the overall satisfaction.

"Old hub is back. Nice to see some of the old menu back. (Boston butt). Always the go to place for burgers. Dirty fries were another class. Thank you. (Burnt end beans are trash though, go back to the baked bean style not tomato sauce. Too dry)"

"So SO filling! Wonderful atmosphere and the waiter was efficient and friendly. We reserved a seat and got the perfect spot- exactly what we asked for. The milkshakes were the highlight of our visit, and were very sweet, much to our liking. The burgers were delicious, although large enough to fill you up on their own, and I would want a bit more veg, but overall a fantastic experience. Would come again!"

Nadja Daukszys

"The food was really good, especially if you are gluten free. There were so many GF options and that in itself is a 10/10.

The structuring (at least on the patio) was what lost stars for me. We were seated outside and the staff member placed two different menus on a QR code we didn’t see. We had no idea that the QR code was how we ordered and no one ever said anything to us about it, not even when we were originally seated. We sat there for 30 minutes with waiters walking by and never saying anything to us. We were kinda shocked. Eventually I lifted up the Specials menu and say the QR code and felt really dumb, but again, that should have been mentioned that to us in the first place. Idk that was just crazy to me and not good service nor communication.

The rest of the experience was fine and the food was good. But my sandwich did have a hair in it which was nasty and disappointing. But everything tasted great!!"

Smack bang in the middle of the city, the centre's diverse mixed-media attractions have been earmarked with the power to completely transform Plymouth's reputation. This is the type of space where a hyper-contemporary digital installation challenging racial stereotypes rubs shoulders with a giant reconstruction of a woolly mammoth (who knew Plymouth Sound was their stomping ground during the Ice Age?)
