Their classic meat and potato is great but it’s their specialty pies that really tip them over the edge compared to other pies shops. Minted Lamb, Steak and Stilton, chicken, ham and leak. "It was a good treat when it first opened. "Michelin star chef". Once the novelty wore off, it became clear. Bland ingredients. No seasoning. Gimmicky pies (no flavour or archaic recipes).
These guys knew to take sandwiches off the menu. No flavour.
I looked this morning and the only appealing item is a full English. Sold out.
Anyway, maybe I'll try it again another day and hopefully don't feel like I've wasted my money. Again."
