The prototype for an all-encompassing, holistic musical experience, Mono is a true original and is not to be missed. In the West End, The 78, with its coal fire and comfy sofas, delivers vegan food with a cosier vibe. Saramago café bar, situated within the Centre for Contemporary Arts on Sauchiehall Street, meanwhile, offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with a vegan menu that includes small plates and larger meals such as haggis fritters served with hand-cut chips and mushy peas; they also bake their own bread every morning.
