Unreal dinner at Partick Duck Club!! 🍴🥰🫶🏼 A little bit more expensive, but well worth the extra pennies for a fab dinner and treat. Would 100 percent recommend, especially the crispy cauliflower!! #fyp #brunch #dinner #glasgow #foodtok #scotland #westend

Reviews Summary

Partick Duck Club is a highly acclaimed spot in Glasgow, lauded for its exceptional food quality and friendly, attentive service. Diners rave about unique dishes like the deep-fried pickles and the standout 12-hour duck leg. While many praise the ambiance and value, some find the menu limited or certain dishes overly rich.

"A restaurant not to miss. Such a simple dish but their deep fried ,homemade pickles has become my favourite dish of the year so far. Incredibly light batter. Then the pulled duck burger is something you dream about either on a night out or to recover the next day. Other dishes sampled like the pasta were expertly cooked and delicious . Very friendly and attentive service. Highly recommended."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Absolutely fantastic experience at Partick Duck Club! The food was amazing, and the service was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we walked in.

The highlight for me was without a doubt the 12-hour duck leg with bubble & squeak, pineapple & green peppercorn glaze—perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and beautifully presented. It’s one of the best duck dishes I’ve had in a long time!

Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxed yet top-quality dining experience in Glasgow. We’ll definitely be back!"

"The restaurant is not big but plenty of seats and looks very inviting. We got seated quickly and got a nice big table. The staff are friendly and attentive and got our drinks and food order quickly. We had hummus and sourdough and this was delicious for a starter. For the mains, we chose burger and it was very rich with black pudding spread, personally I wish there was an option to have it plain as I struggled to finish it and the topping was too runny and made the bun a bit soggy. We ordered two different fries both which was really heavy so next time will stick with plain fries. Overall we enjoyed the dinner. The menu is pretty limited and could do with a few more options like chicken burger, fish etc."

Talk of the Town: Glasgow's Best Brunches

A bit about the name: There was a tavern that stood on Old Dumbarton Road, a favourite of a group of Glasgow merchants and professors. In 1810 they formed the Duck Club of Partick and would dine each Saturday on local roast duck from the River Kelvin, served with sage and onion with green peas, and washed down with pints of ale. Not a bad way to spend an evening.
