HOXTON NORTH

Hoxton North is a London-inspired coffee shop and brunch restaurant founded by husband and wife team Timothy and Victoria Bosworth. Bringing the passion and culture of the East End of London to Harrogate, the pair offer a seasonally-inspired and globally-influenced menu which changes regularly. Excellent eggs Benedict, Florentine and Royale are served here, alongside smoked salmon, avocado and eggs on a bloomer slice, but our favourite is the French toast, either sweet (with strawberries and Belgian chocolate) or savoury (including smoked bacon and maple syrup).

The brainchild of husband and wife team Timothy and Victoria Bosworth, Hoxton North is a charming independent cafe inspired by the trendy coffee shop and cafe bar scene in London’s foodie hotspot, Hoxton. The business first opened on Parliament Street in 2013 but moved to a larger venue following a surge in demand for their exceptional quality food and specialist coffees. Brunch at Hoxton North is served from 9:30 am until 2:30 pm and the menu features all the expected brunch favourites plus British breakfast classics.

Hoxton North is one of the best speciality coffee shops and best spots for brunch - it is so adored that it is one of the highest-rated cafes in Harrogate on Trip Advisor. The coffee shop/ cafe was established in 2013 to represent seasonally inspired food, with an influence from across the globe. They brought fresh artisanal coffee roasting and amazing foodie delights from their time in London, back to Harrogate, where they keep locals and tourists very happy indeed.

Hoxton North is somewhere I like to work, although not as busy as weekends at Hoxton’s there’s something tranquil in the hustle and bustle of a small coffee shop. Although there’s no deals I’ve always felt welcome and they do a good strong coffee to kickstart your morning. Get there early if you want to secure a table but I do like the window bench as… yes you guessed it… great for people watching.

The London-inspired cafe offers a comprehensive brunch menu of artisan coffee, breakfast and brunch classics, and daily specials. It’s always busy, so you should book ahead or you may have to wait for a table – but it’s worth it!

We tucked into some avocado, halloumi and poached eggs on toasted sourdough, whilst drinking our tea and coffee, the tea was loose leaf (which I loved), and my husband was incredibly pleased that they served excellent high-quality coffee. The only down side is that dogs were not allowed inside, but we were more than happy to sit outside.

Yep it’s another coffee shop on the Crown roundabout lol, honestly in this area you are spoilt for choice. Hoxton North is a longstanding name on the Harrogate coffee scene offering an East London-inspired café experience. They have been around since 2013 which is pretty good in todays climate, plus they are still just as bust as ever.

A really popular place to enjoy breakfast in Harrogate town centre so be prepared to wait for a table if you haven’t pre booked but it will be worth it. The service is excellent and so efficient. Ingredients are fresh and locally sources with a specials menu available too.

We also love Hoxton North and the staff there are exceptionally welcoming to those on four paws, but, my dog’s 5 paw award for the best dog friendly cafe in Harrogate goes to The Dog’s Bakery and Cafe, I mean what dog would turn their nose up at a home baked dog biscuit!

With its minimalist interior and expertly crafted coffee, Hoxton North is a great spot for those who want a top-notch coffee experience. They serve a range of breakfast and brunch options, such as avocado toast and pastries, making it a go-to for a leisurely morning.

This London inspired Café is great for expresso while looking over business plans or Skype calls. Come here to enjoy as what is on offer is fantastic. One of the best places to relax with a coffee anywhere in Harrogate.
