What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Weetons offers a diverse experience, with many praising the exceptional sourdough and the vibrant atmosphere of the food hall and garden centre. However, some visitors have encountered issues with slow service and cold food, leading to a less than ideal dining experience.
"I visited the Leeds Rd weetons recently, the plant and home furnishings sections were exceptional. I had been asked to purchase a sour dough loaf as my partner had been told that it was the best in the area by a friend. I had the luck to speak to Lee, the baker, who was extremely helpful. His knowledge of baking even down to the Latin names of the bacteria involved in producing sourdough bread is exceptional. He advised I take the weetons signature 48 hour sourdough. The back story that it's produced with his father's 25 year old starter true or not, it is the best sourdough we've ever tasted."

"I came here to buy some plants and compost during spring and I managed to get some shade tolerant shrubs and plants. Very nice laid out garden centre and very neat as well. Indoors there is a selection of outdoor furniture that you can purchase along with garden tools. Plenty of parking and easy access to reverse your car to put bags of compost, topsoil or bark into your car."

"I love this spot in Harrogate for a lovely breakfast and a walk around the farm shop. Had the Turkish eggs which were delicious, the sourdough served with this was brilliant. The fresh chilli added the perfect amount of heat."
