What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners frequently praise St Davids Gin & Kitchen for its delicious, locally sourced food, particularly steaks, lobster, and Sunday roasts. The friendly and attentive service contributes to a wonderful dining experience. However, some guests have noted minor issues with the restaurant's ambiance needing an update or have encountered unexpected closures.
"By far the best meal we have had in many years.
The fillet steak was cooked to perfection as was the lobster. I could not fault anything.
The young lady who served us was lovely and nothing was too much trouble.
Stunning food beyond words. Thank you for making my birthday so special."

"We had the most wonderful dinner. The fish was the freshest I’ve ever eaten, great burgers, fab wine list and local beers. All beautifully served and brilliant staff. Definitely the best food in the county - and probably beyond! Diolch yn Fawr"

"Booked in for Sunday lunch and had a very nice meal indeed.
Completely full, but still a nice relaxed buzz.
We had a mussels starter which had a beautiful light tasty broth and plump sweet mussels.
We both had a roast, one beef one pork. All the components were outstanding, except the beef itself which let the side down slightly - just lacking in the flavour department.
The only glitch was being immediately asked to order, rather than being asked whether we'd like a drink with which to peruse the menu. A bit odd and potential missed revenue opportunities given it's 'St David's Gin'. However we stuck to our game-plan and firmly refused to order until our gin-based aperitifs arrived. It was a great meal though and the service was otherwise excellent."
