🍔 Sycamore, Corbridge. The guys at @SycamoreCorbridge3 very kindly invited us to check out their lunch menu! We went with the Sycamore Smash Burger and the Beef Dip sandwich, followed by some Sticky Toffee Pudding and a Choco Brownie. The place itself is lovely, chilled vibes and really friendly people. Sycamore Corbridge is highly regarded for its exquisite food, friendly and attentive service, and stylish, comfortable atmosphere. Diners particularly praise the quality of the Sunday roasts, seasonal dishes, and diverse menu options. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, one reviewer noted an issue with coffee preparation.

"Had a really nice Sunday dinner here. 3 courses for £27, portions were reasonable, thoroughly enjoyed the beef sirloin and service was very good. Really nice venue and staff were very attentive. Would come back and would also highly recommend."

Chris Simpson

"First visit to Sycamore and I was so impressed, that we've already booked up for Boxing Day lunch! Located in the heart of Corbridge in a beautiful building, the interior has been cleverly redesigned to maximise the existing character and detail to create a more modern yet comfortable feel. The highlight is upstairs in the restaurant with the fabulous photo of Sycamore Gap. Food amazing and great value for money, service discrete but attentive, brilliant menu choices and an overall lovely experience. Can't wait to return! Highly recommended."

Serving brunch, lunch and dinner, The Sycamore showcases the best seasonal offerings sourced from a close network of local farms and suppliers. The tempting bar menu by day gives way to dinner, served Thursday through to Saturday and includes everything from Douglas fir-cured salmon with dill creme fraiche, and twice-baked Doddington cheese soufflé to start, followed by butter roasted coley or seared picanha steak with truffle mayo to follow. There’s a great wine and cocktail list too, and Sunday lunch here is served sharing style.
