The Kitchen offers an affordable set menu (three courses for £40) that boasts modern twists on Scottish favourites like roasted loin of wild Highland venison, and wild North Sea Halibut. And foodies with a sweet tooth won't be let down by their dark chocolate and cherry brownie for dessert.

The Kitchen Restaurant was hands down my favorite eatery in town. Tucked along the banks of the River Ness, this independent, family-run gem offers an unforgettable dining experience—not to mention great views of the river and castle!. Plus, the ambiance is both modern and welcoming, making it perfect for families looking for a celebratory night out while on vacation.

The conversion of the interior (which I’ve singularly failed to capture) has created a very appealing open space with many original features combined with modern styling. We visited for lunch twice during our time in Inverness and were seated downstairs both times. The large ground floor windows were open, letting in a lovely breeze on two warm summer’s days.

The Kitchen Restaurant is laid out over three floors and housed in a modern, architect designed building located on the banks of the River Ness. We are an independent family run restaurant and we aim to deliver excellent Scottish produce and friendly highland service. We look forward to welcoming locals and visitors to the restaurant.

Sister restaurant to Mustard Seed offering more relaxed brasserie dining. Similar menu and high standards to Mustard Seed housed in an ultra modern glass fronted building in a stunning location with views over the river and of the castle. Food is delicious, generous portion sizes served by very friendly and efficient staff.

The Mustard Seed, housed in a converted church building, and its more modern sister restaurant, The Kitchen, are both located on the banks of the River Ness. These excellent restaurants are very popular with the locals, and there's definitely room for both in this city!

The Mustard Seed and The Kitchen, two restaurants with the same owner on opposite sides of the river. The Mustard Seed is a fabulous conversion of an old building and worth going for that alone. In the summer, you can sit out on the balcony looking out across the river.

Enjoy a satisfying meal at Hatmakers serving guests of Sadie Best Western Hotel Luton. Quench your thirst with your favorite drink at the bar/lounge. English breakfasts are served on weekdays from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM and on weekends from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM for a fee.

The Kitchen restaurant is located on the bank of River Ness. It is one of my favourite restaurants as it offers spectacular views and even better food. Anyone who wants a modern take on Scottish cuisine made with local ingredients.

Modern fare, chic interiors and castle views, what more could a humble foodie wish for?. A heated terrace perhaps. Well, The Kitchen Restaurant has that covered too, along with riverside views and a great lunch menu.

Among the best are Rocpool, The Mustard Seed, The Kitchen and The Fig and Thistle. The Castle Tavern is just across the road from our house and has a great range of beers and pub food.

Another excellent restaurant, it is set in a modern glass fronted building on the riverside. It has a brasserie style and includes a pasta and pizza section.
