Lake Road Brunch

LRB opened its doors just over 12 months ago and has taken Keswick by storm. With its cozy but bright interior, buckets of space and a varied menu with something for everyone, it had to take the number 1 spot on our brekkie and brunch round-up… what’s in a name indeed!. Open from 9am Monday to Sunday, serving delicious coffee and everything from American-style pancake stacks (with bacon & Maple syrup being a personal fave) to eggs shakshuka, LRB is definitely the place to be, whether you want something to fill you up for hiking in the fells or a light start to a more lazy day.

Lake Road Brunch in Keswick is a popular destination for those seeking a top-notch breakfast, brunch, or lunch experience. They are known for their delicious full English breakfast, which includes the best sausages in town and homemade hash, among other tasty offerings. Their menu also features items like the Blueberry & Lemon Stack, which consists of fluffy American pancakes with blueberries, served with a homemade blueberry and lemon curd topped with ice cream.

Pancakes to die for, coffee that'll make you close your eyes and smell...well, the coffee, and options for vegetarian and vegan fare coming out of their ears. There's even a dedicated menu for our four-legged fur-babies who are more than welcome. I can highly recommend the classic stack, while Louise keeps her options open and ranges from the Dosa, to the Hallumi BLT or the Hallumi eggs benny.

If you are looking for a spot on brunch in Keswick, LRB has covered you. Super light and fluffy buttermilk pancakes with a variety of toppings, big hearty fry ups and more unusual options such as masala dosa and salt beef hash will leave you feeling fuelled up for your day of adventure. They also boast Pancake and Vegan menus, not to mention the cocktails.

They think theirs is the best in town, and judging by the glowing reviews, they’re not wrong. We’re talking banging Eggs Benny, sublime Shakshuka, marvellous Masala Dosa, and pancake stacks as big as mountains (well, pretty big anyway). There’s a full vegan menu too, and you can wash it all down with a beer or a cocktail if you fancy.

Lake Road Brunch is a new brunch place on Lake Road that you need to visit when you’re in Keswick. It has all of your classic brunch dishes; avo on toast, Shakshuka, full english, eggs benny. But they also have the naughtiest pancake menu with the most decadent toppings!

It has two great sized rooms with enough space to host big tables. Their specialities are pancakes with various toppings and brunches including vegetarian and vegan options. They have a cocktails menu as well and you can even order some sausages for your doggy.

Another great option in Keswick, Lake Road Brunch with give you a mouth-watering experience. Great food, great vibes and who doesn’t love brunch?. Although their menu is not wholly vegan or vegetarian, they have a vegan menu which is delicious!

My favourite brunch spot in Keswick, the food is absolutely delicious and there are plenty of sweet and savoury options, I can highly recommend the pancakes. The staff are so friendly and REALLY love dogs so it's a big tick from us!

Was planning on visiting in October 24 but things got delayed. The food and atmosphere were worth the wait, probably one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in the UK.
