Reviews Summary
McCoy's offers a diverse menu with many popular dishes, praised for good quality and portion sizes at reasonable prices. Diners often highlight friendly and attentive service, with special mention for the Great Yorkshire Breakfast and jacket potatoes. While some reviews note a decline in food standards compared to previous visits, the overall sentiment remains positive, especially regarding the ambiance and accommodating staff, making it a recurring favorite for many.
"Had breakfast and lunch here (for two) and both visits the food was good quality at a good price. I'm not too good with smartphones so ordering other QR code was a little difficult but I did get it working and some one did check up on us to see if it was working. (Was outside so can see the appeal for the QR code)
Payment was also done on the app but you can pay by card on site or use cash. Well worth eating here and I will be again very soon."

"I love coming back to the UK and eating at McCoys - the food is always superb, with lots of variety to choose from and great portion sizes. I think it's really good value for money, and the staff are very friendly too. I always look forward to my annual trip here - thank you for the lovely lunches!"

"I love the location, but McCoy's has really lost the personal touch with the dreaded ordering through the QR code. The staff are still friendly, but interaction is now very limited. However, the poor review is really down to the prices. I appreciate costs of food and staffing have increased massively, but this is now one of the most expensive cafes in the city centre. After looking at the price of food we decided not to bother. Out of politeness I ordered a pot of tea for two which was £6.96 and for that we got one cup each!!! I can’t remember paying that much anywhere including outside of Hull."
