Reviews Summary

Bengal Brasserie is praised for its modern ambiance, friendly hospitality, and tasty food, with many highlighting its value. While generally well-received, some reviews mention certain dishes lacking flavor or spice intensity, and inconsistent starter quality. The restaurant is considered a great option for various occasions, from romantic dinners to family outings, and is noted for its welcoming staff and efficient service. Reddit+2

"Didn't have a booking, we had just been to the arena for an event and even though they close at 11.30 they still let is in at 10.45. Place was quite busy and considering the arena had just emptied, think we were lucky to get in. Food was amazing, I'm don't normally go for Indian food, so it helps when it's good and tasty. Service was amazing and checked on us regularly for drinks. As the chefs left they also spoke to us and asked how the meal was, lovley place and we'll worth a vist."

"Modern and stylish restaurant serving really tasty curry.

I visited here last night for the first time with a couple of friends and was very pleasantly surprised.
It was fairly busy but not so much that service was compromised. The staff were very friendly and happy. Service was excellent and efficient.

The food was soooo good! I loved every mouthful of my handi gosht.
The restaurant is very nicely styled inside giving a chic, modern and elegant feel.
We all enjoyed it and will definitely be going again!"

"Fantastic experience the service was amazing and they were really hospitable towards my baby son. It was an absolute bargain. Didn't realise you can get a quality curry, amazing service and at a bargain. If I'm ever in Leeds I will come back. Highly recommended"

What: Probably Leeds’ most recognisable large curry house, Bengal Brasserie has sites all over West Yorkshire and they’re all pretty good - we’ve included the City Centre site as it’s the most accessible. It would take you years to eat your way through everything on the extensive menu, but wherever you turn you’ll just find comforting, delicious Bengali food, as well as more traditional British Indian curries. Spice fans will feel right at home here too, with plenty of dishes that don’t hold back on the chillies.Where: 5 Merrion Way, LS2 8BTBook now: Bengal Brasserie Leeds City Centre
