With gluten free soy sauce and the entirety of the staff honestly wanting to make sure you have something delicious but free from, the meal here was great. Now, there’s a dairy free and a gluten free menu so you do have to cross reference which is why this time I didn’t go for an all-you-can-eat like my friends did, but next time I absolutely would. I didn’t order anything too ‘out there’ but if I was doing the all I can eat, I might go a little more wild, but these two are my go-to faves anyway – plus edamame.

Slightly different to other Japanese and vegan restaurants in Leeds, Blue Sakura serve tapas-style dishes so it’s more of a social dining experience. All orders are placed via a touch screen at the table and they have a vegan menu which is more extensive than most we’ve seen!. There’s Miso soup, sushi, salads, gyoza, tempura, stir-fries, noodles and more.

Elsewhere, cool Japanese restaurant Blue Sakura has reinvented the all-you-can-eat concept by allowing customers to have as much of its classy sushi, curries, stir fries and grills as they like – but preparing them to order. Ox Club, meanwhile, has been earning plaudits for its menus crafted over charcoal and wood on a grill imported from Michigan.

Anyone who knows Ellen, will know this is one of her fave places to visit in Leeds. Unlimited sushi and Japanese food, what more can you ask for!?. The concept of Blue Sakura is great; once you're sat down, a drinks order is taken, you're then presented with an iPad where you order your dishes, which arrive to your table as and when they're ready.

It’s sushi served tapas-style at Blue Sakura, making this one of the most mouthwatering all you can eat options in Leeds. You’ll order from a tablet on your table, making it simplicity itself to get a virtual conveyor belt of deliciousness brought to you. We’re talking seafood udon noodles, Korean spicy beef and gorgeously plump grilled scallops.

Let’s start with my favourite and, in my opinion, the best sushi in Leeds. The day that I found out that a bottomless, all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant was opening in Leeds, was one of the best days of my life. The price varies depending on when you go, ranging from £19.95 for a weekday lunchtime to £34.95 for a weekend evening.

The Blue Sakura Leeds stands out with its “eat all you can” weekend menu, promising an experience worth every penny. With a high praise for its grilled mussels and salmon, it’s the go-to for quality Japanese cuisine. Though a minor hiccup was mentioned, the overall reception highlights its quality and highly recommended status.

Blue Sakura redefines the concept of all-you-can-eat with a system that sees dishes made to order, from hand rolls to teriyaki, ordered in 'rounds' from the tablet on their tables. There's sushi, soup, tempura, grilled dishes, Teppanyaki dishes and Korean food - and all of it is absolutely mouth-watering.
