"A very cute and authentic Italian cafe, we stopped for coffee and a panini and both were lovely. The pasta menu looked delicious"
Imogen Grace
"We came here for an early evening meal before a summer concert. Sat in the back garden which has a lovely atmosphere. Excellent 3 courses with a lot of flavour, including the best tiramisu I've had for a long time, and very friendly service. And a good bottle of house white. This place looks very unassuming from the outside but don't be fooled, it has hidden depths. Would definitely choose this place to eat again."
Christopher Leigh
"I booked this place for my 25th birthday with my family. There was 13 of us so for a small place it was going to be a big order! They could not have been more accommodating and helpful. The food was incredible, the service was perfect and they made me feel so special! They catered for the two children and were so patient with them, and also my auntie who is gluten-intolerant. I brought in a cake and forgot to get candles, to which they got some for me and even shut the doors as the wind kept blowing them out! I will recommend this place to anyone who wants a perfect Italian dinner. Thank you so much :)"

Best Italian restaurants in Lincoln: a local guide (2025)
West Parade, just off Lincoln High Street in the city centre ⭐ Best for: Laidback lunches and cosy early-evening dinner dates 🧄 Highlight: Incredible buttery garlic bread!. La Bottega Delitalia began its life as an independent delicatessen café where you could grab a quick lunch panini or cake to take away, but has evolved to become an ambient restaurant as well. The glass deli counter is still the first thing you see when you walk through the bright red entrance, while the restaurant area occupies a cosy space at the back, spilling out onto a sun-trap little garden.
Lincoln's 10 best restaurants and places to eat according to visitors - summer 2022
What reviewers are saying: In July 2022, one reviewer said: "(I) booked the table for 7pm and bought our own wine as their licence only runs to 6pm. Great selection on the menu, my partner is vegetarian and she was very pleased. 3-course meal for the four of us came to £100 and change so can’t complain about the price. Starters were a really good size so if you’re not a big eater would recommend just a main course. Definitely the best Italian food I’ve had in Lincoln and I’ve tried most of them!
