Hafla Hafla is a much-loved Mediterranean restaurant, which started out in the Baltic Market serving up the famous loaded halloumi fries. These guys have now opened their own place in Lark Lane, where locals and visitors flock to enjoy some of the best Middle Eastern cuisine in Liverpool, including brunch, small plates, desserts and drinks. Hafla Hafla celebrates Lebanese cuisine with starters like smoked chilli babaganoush with pomegranate seeds and homemade hummus with amba and crispy chickpeas.

This street-food vendor turned collection of restaurants offers a taste of the Middle East in the heart of Liverpool. Halfa Halfa (meaning party party in Arabic) is a chic setting, with exposed brick walls and wooden beams juxtaposed with polished tables and grey cushioned seating. That means Hafla Brunch Club is also back, from 10am-1pm on Saturdays and Sundays, £25pp.

Hafla Hafla is situated just out of the city on the Bohemian Lark Lane and in our opinion is well worth the short journey out!. Their Brunch menu is a wonderous mix of Middle-Eastern inspired dishes and Brunch classics with plenty for veggies and vegans to indulge in too!. Choose any Brunch plate and wash it down with free-flowing lager, Prosecco, Mimosas or Bloody Mary's for 90 minutes of pure joy!

Hafla Hafla began as a Middle Eastern street food venture and has now evolved into a permanent restaurant on Lark Lane. Their pittas are somewhat iconic in Liverpool, and it’s fair to say their popularity is showing no signs of diminishing. Hafla Hafla is a restaurant I would recommend to anyone visiting the city. Based on Lark Lane in Aigburth, the Middle Eastern-inspired restaurant serves a wide selection of different small plates, from harissa roast potatoes to chicken thighs marinated in hot honey. The corn ribs and za'atar naan bread dipped into whipped feta are my favourites.
