Reviews Summary

Panoramic 34 is celebrated for its breathtaking views and excellent service, making it a top choice for special occasions and afternoon tea. While many praise the attentive staff and the overall dining experience, some diners find the food to be average for the price point and note occasional service lapses. Despite these critiques, the stunning ambiance and the desire for an elevated experience continue to draw visitors.

"The afternoon tea at Panoramic 34 was an absolute treat! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable - attentive and friendly without being intrusive. And those views! Wow, they truly live up to the name. Sipping tea and nibbling on delicious sandwiches and cakes with the whole of Liverpool spread out beneath you is an experience you won't soon forget.
The food itself was delightful. The sandwiches were fresh and flavorful, and the selection of cakes and pastries was both beautiful and tasty. The scones were warm and crumbly, just as they should be, and the accompanying jam and clotted cream were perfect."

"Went here yesterday and the view of one the most beautiful iconic skylines was clearly visible from the restaurant, had managed to obtain a window view, which I was very happy about. Excellent service, staff were very pleasant and helpful. As a surprise to even me, after paying the bill they brought out a plate with two chocolates with Happy Anniversary. Really enjoyed the dessert and cocktails. Definitely recommend this place. Sat in the cocktail lounge"

"Went with my wife for our 20th wedding anniversary (lunch)
Given a table without much of a view but tables facing liverpool skyline were free.(the best views)
This did quite annoy me as nobody took these tables for our duration. ..
I really think they couldn't be bothered relaying these tables.
Service was OK, nothing special, food was also OK, obviously portions are quite small.
Prices are on the higher side , paid around £160 for set menu with bottle of wine.
Been here around 3 times previously and always enjoyed it as its views are spectacular.
Would still recommend as a one off experience, but this could be so much better.
Gone a bit stale in my opinion and taking people for granted."

Liverpool: Best places to eat, drink and stay

Liverpool's best restaurant is also its highest, nestling – almost hiding – curiously between two storeys of residential apartments on the 34th floor of the West Tower in the city centre. On arrival, a concierge asks if you are visiting the restaurant or a flat - diners share the lift with weary residents carrying their weekly shopping as they fly towards the upper levels. Once inside, the dark wood panelling and louche leather give a tang of late Seventies glamour to the place, as if Bryan Ferry was about to drop by for a cocktail.
