"Very busy on a Friday at 6pm due to a large preorder by others but we were kept updated about longer waiting times by staff. Ordered 2 cods, large chips, curry sauce and a kid's fish meal which came with a drink. Plenty of tables upstairs to eat your takeaway. Everything was made to order, delicious flaky cod in crispy batter and the chips were well cooked. Would prefer the curry sauce to be a bit spicier but that's my own personal taste."

"I first visited this shop in 2022 and had a good experience. Based on that, I recommended it to my family visiting from Canada in 2025, expecting the same quality. Unfortunately, I was quite embarrassed by the decline. The food didn’t live up to expectations this time. The fish, in particular, was a letdown. It was heavily coated in fried flour, making it look much bigger than it actually was, but the fish itself had an unpleasant, fishy smell."
