"Highly recommend The Loaf, if you can get in, as it tends to be very busy due to its very good food and excellent service. When you walk in, you're made to feel very welcome. The staff are very nice and attentive but never pushy. It has a very nice, relaxed and intimate atmosphere with a little background music, which is never intrusive. The food is excellent and plenty of it too, from cooked breakfasts to their delicious, thick and creamy porridge, served with syrup and strawberries, a great way to start the day and all at very decent prices. Again, highly recommended.........And their homemade scones with jam & cream are quite superb."

"A brilliant independent local cafe serving a selection of hot and cold food and variety of hot and cold drinks.
The place is decorated nicely, the service friendly and most importantly the food I ate was delicious, hot and fresh.
I had a full breakfast, it was worth the £9.70 and the bacon was nice and thick, 2 sausage along with hash browns with a choice of granary or white bread.
It's on a row of shops that are all cafes but I highly recommend you try this as I know it's good plus it's a 2 Mon walk to the orme and pier."
