"I was out in town with a friend on a Sunday evening looking for somewhere to have dinner. She suggested a few places, but as soon as we stepped into Kiln, I instantly felt an inviting vibe.
The reception was friendly and welcoming, though we had to wait a little over an hour to be seated as the place was quite busy. That said, it was absolutely worth it, as the atmosphere and the menu are both thoughtfully curated.
Amongst other dishes, we tried the grilled rump cap and the grilled mackerel, both of which were superb! The clay pot noodles, recommended by our waiter as a signature dish, was absolutely mouthwatering. She was also very friendly and attentive to my food allergies, I would appreciate it if someone from the page admins could let her know that I am still alive and happy!
Even though sweet desserts aren’t on the menu, we ended with the radish and beetroot salad, which was amazing in its own right!
Tip: If you try the grilled rump, don’t skip the leaves that come with it, such a great combination of flavour and texture. Also, be sure to squeeze the limes generously over the grilled mackerel, it really brings the whole dish to life!"

The service is excellent. Staff is very friendly and attentive. We even got there early on Saturday to queue before opening, so we didn’t have to wait, which made the experience even better.
