"Just left from a night’s stay - room was lovely - clean and decorated beautifully- the young man who showed us to the room explained everything to us about coming back late and breakfast and he carried my bags! Lovely welcome - really friendly staff. Breakfast looked amazing - love the decor of the pub and the abundance of plants. Wonderful pub - so pleased we got to stay there."

"Didn’t stay in this hotel, cannot review the rooms. This is a review about the food and service.
On entering it is a quaint public house with what looks like a smattering of regulars.
We were only ordering lunch so went for starters as lite bites. Soup and fish cakes with salad. Was expecting fish cakes with at least fish in them. What I received was a very cheap deep fried basic potato cake with no actual fish. There were 2 on the plate with a balsamic dressed salad leaves. When the waitress came to collect the plate as there was no check up to see if the food was ok, I told her that they were terrible. There was no apology, no offer of anything else or refund. So in essence I paid for a very expensive handful of salad leaves.
Would I visit here again?
