Reviews Summary

Rudy's Pizza Napoletana is highly praised for its authentic and delicious Neapolitan-style pizzas, featuring light dough and high-quality toppings. Reviewers frequently highlight the warm, friendly service and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. While generally loved, some mention the potential for long wait times due to its popularity, though many find it 'worth the wait'.

"Been meaning to try this franchise for a while after hearing great things. And it didn't disappoint at all. The pizza was absolutely delicious, and very authentic to the original Napoletana traditions and flavours.
The staff were all lovely and helpful, the setting felt very rustic and tasteful.
The dips were even delicious, we tried all three - standout was the Nduja Aioli though.
I'll be back, highly recommended"

Ciro Ragozzino

"The pizza was amazing – fresh, tasty, and just what we needed.
Campana is very good dish 💗
But what made the whole experience even better was waitress lovely service. They are so warm, friendly, and sincere. You could really feel their heart in what they does.

I’ll be back again for sure, and I’ll tell my friends too. A place with great food and even greater people.

Thank you for giving me a good experience which feeling i am in Italy
🇮🇹 the staff her name meaning “ white and pure” which is very nice to us
Feel warm and passionate indeed ."

Winnie Cheung

"We visited Rudy’s Pizza on Saturday evening around 9:00 PM, about an hour before closing, and were pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything went. Despite the place being busy, we were seated immediately without any wait, and the staff had no issue accommodating the three of us.

Since it was getting late, we decided to place our full order right away. The food arrived impressively fast. Our server, Laura, was absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and cheerful throughout, even when we asked a few silly questions. She made us feel genuinely welcome.

We kept it simple with a Margherita, a veggie pizza, and garlic bread. The garlic bread was out of this world—definitely a highlight. My wife and I shared the pizza, and there was still enough left to take home.

To top it all off, when the bill arrived, we noticed they hadn’t charged us for our drinks, and they even gave our little girl a complimentary brownie. We were told the drinks were on the house. It was such a thoughtful gesture.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and a big shoutout to Laura for making our evening so memorable."

The 15 best restaurants in Manchester

Following the huge success and rave reviews of its original restaurant in Ancoats, Rudy’s opened its second base in the city centre in 2018, plus it’s now extended to the suburbs of Chorlton, Altrincham, Didsbury and Sale too. The interiors are industrial chic with towering ceilings, exposed pipes, concrete pillars, and an open kitchen with a huge pizza oven. Pizzas are generously sized but with deliciously light bases (dough is made on site every day and left for 24 hours to double ferment) and high quality toppings, any good intentions of saving a slice quickly goes out of the window.

The Best Cheap Eats In Manchester

It didn’t take long for word to spread about Rudy’s appetising Neapolitan pizzas. Debuting on Ancoats’ Cotton Street in 2015 and named after founders Jim Morgan and Kate Wilson’s little dog, the venue’s fast-and-easy style became a quick hit with locals, who’d queue for hours to get a pizza cooked inside their wood-burning stove. Shortly after they were featured in the prestigious Where To Eat Pizzas world guide, a second, larger space was unveiled in the centre of town on Peter Street.

18 Cheap Eats in Manchester

Kate Wilson and Jim Morgan (previously of Honest Crust) know a thing or two about pizza. Now a UK-wide chain, Rudy’s started here in Manny, with the owners’ first tiny spot opening in Ancoats, where they served stunningly good pizzas for around a fiver. Since then, their success has skyrocketed (and so have the prices, obvi), but you can still get a marg for under a tenner and most of the others for 11 or 12 quid.

An Insider's Guide to Dog Friendly Manchester

As a relaxed neighbourhood pizzeria, following the traditions and artistry of pizza from Naples, all three Rudy’s outposts in town happily welcome small, well-trained dogs into their restaurants. The original Rudy’s, which opened in 2015, is located on Cutting Room Square in Ancoats and is still the most beloved by locals. My go-to order is the Porchetta, a white pizza topped with fior de latte, roast porchetta, sage roasted potatoes, smoked mozzarella, caramelised white onions, cracked black pepper and rosemary oil… *chef’s kiss*

Having spearheaded the restaurant rush on Ancoats, Manchester's Neapolitan pizza maestros have just opened a second, much larger branch on Peter Street - between BrewDog and Rudy's newly adopted sister venue, Albert's Schloss. Not only can you score some of the best and most reasonable pizza in town (whole pizzas start from £4.90), but you can also enjoy it al fresco with a Campari & soda on the 25(ish) cover terrace, set back from the busy road behind some greenery. The best affordable restaurants in Greater Manchester - dine for under a tenner

Based in Manchester’s own little Italy - Ancoats - Rudy’s is already known as THE place to go for proper, wood fired Neapolitan pizza. So much so, that queues around the block are regular, and they’re opening their second branch on Peter Street imminently. It’s also a bit of a bargain - you’ll have change from a fiver for a 14-inch marinara, while a margarita the same size will set you back just £5.90.The joy is in the simplicity and quality of the ingredients, from the San Marzano tomatoes to the buffalo mozzarella.
