"Avoid the Draft at All Costs

My recent visit to the Colliers Arms was extremely disappointing, primarily due to the poor quality of their draft beer. I ordered two pints, and both tasted distinctly soapy. My friend agreed, confirming it wasn't just my taste buds playing tricks.

I returned the pints, hoping for a fresh pour, but the replacement pints had the same off-putting taste. When I attempted to return the beer a second time, the situation turned unpleasant. I overheard who I believe was the landlord rudely instructing the barmaid not to replace the drinks again. He then asked the barmaid to pour him a half pint, declared it was fine, and that was that. No refund was offered, and the barmaid simply stated she couldn't replace the drinks so I lost out on nearly 10 pound!

This suggests either dirty glasses or, more likely, poorly maintained beer lines. The service was unprofessional and dismissive, and it seems the staff are either accustomed to serving poor quality beer or simply don't care. I won't be ordering draft there again and will stick to bottled drinks in the future. Save yourself the disappointment and steer clear of the draft at the Colliers Arms."
