"Never Again! Terrible place.
I have been a regular here for over the past 30 years but unfortunately I won't be back in a hurry. The place is a shambles. All 4 tables in the upper seating area were filthy, not cleared or cleaned and just left for a long time. Carpet was full of food and absolutely filthy and the end of the bar was just full empty glasses. And that's before we talk about the food! The alleged sirloin steak was a disgrace, well overcooked and certainly not medium and inedable due to the amount of fat on it. Complimented by a few chips and possibly the worst Mac n cheese ever. I am confident that this was a cheap tin of macaroni cheese with a little bit of cheap cheese grated on the top. A nice mark up at £3.69. I have previously been a big fan of the Burgers here but not on this occasion. Dry as sticks with an end of onion and a tomato rind? Tasted distinctly of lighter fluid?

"We used our gift card from Christmas as a date nigh the other week, as we love the food it is always tasty and take into to account my partner’s intolerance. I had the buyers chicken which is one of my faves and tried the Mac and cheese as a side, was the most cheesest and best I’ve had ever! The saff are always welcoming and friendly even when we sat in a reserved spot as we underestimated the time, they were lovely polite and helped us move tables."
