Unique dishes like Maple Moonshine Mussels, Pulled JackFruit Chilli and Truffle Mac & Cheese Gratin sit alongside burgers, salads, steaks, roast dinners, loaded fries and delicious sides (think confit garlic mash, Cajun skinny fries and corn on the cob) to ensure a scrumptious feast for all.

With an extensive cocktail and food menu, Rebellion Roast House can be the perfect pre-drink club or eatery on a Friday night (or on any other night for the week) for you after a long day. But it’s the adventurous cocktail menu that got us hooked and compelled us to include the venue on this list today. For instance, you can try the Mad Hot Mary that’s brewed with Chilli Devil Water Moonshine, served in a special ‘bacon skewer’ for adding some kick of spice to your palette.

Rebellion Roast House and Moonshine bar features ambient, rustic décor with a western vibe, offering cosy low sofas adorned with faux fur and cow hide throws. We always head here for an indulgent, big group meal out and there wasn’t a plate in sight that didn’t look like it’d been licked clean. Most of us opted for brisket stacks slathered in a golden BBQ sauce, while others picked a thick cut brisket with proper drool-worthy gravy.

Up at the top end of town near Great Western beach, you’ll find Rebellion Roast House – Newquay’s moonshine bar. Whilst there were some staffing issues during August which meant food wasn’t served when we were visiting, it’s still a great place to grab a cocktail. Cornish Moonshine Mojitos, Moonshine Mary’s and Moonshine Mules are all on the extensive cocktail list, but it was the Nice Pear that stole the show for me.

With a passion for the rebellious and unique twists on the classics, the Rebellion Roast House has accrued an impressive 4.5 google rating. The spot is well-suited to a pre-club drink or hearty meal – offering a complete food and drinks menu. Trust us, drinking at the Roast House is not an experience you want to forget in the morning after haze.
