"Another Sunday lunch at the Elly, same great experience. Unbeatable for value (£11 ea, including a pint). Friendly, smiling staff, prompt service, hot food (plenty of it), great roasted spuds and lovely thick gravy. These guys have it nailed. Thanks!"
Andrew and Catherine Newman
"I am staying at a local hotel and this venue is handy due to location.
The staff are friendly and the food has been very good and arrives promptly even when busy.
It is highly popular with senior customers and has a generally good feel although the furniture and decor are very tired indeed with most seating heavily stained."
Guy Murray
"Best meal I've had in ages. Team were run off feet but service was speedy. Food was hot and fresh and they were friendly and smiling. What more could you ask for"
