My husband suffers from Celiac, after reading the reviews on this Restaurant, we thought perfect sounds great so I booked a table, around 1 hour after eating a 3 course, supposedly " gluten free " meal, my husband became very ill, he knows the gluten pain when it starts, as he has been glutened several times before, 1 restaurant did admit liability as the waitress gave him the wrong meal, but thats another story, so human error can happen, anyway my husband was very sick for around 2-3 hours after eating his meal, which is around the time that his body takes to eject every morsel of gluten in him. I phoned the restaurant to let them know what had happened, we are not looking for compensation or a free meal, only to make them really aware of cross contamination etc, but they refused to accept that he had been Glutened, and blamed food poisoning from somewhere else, which really is nonsense, he was however sorry that my husband was poorly. I only wish there was a simple test that we could do after being glutened, just to prove it.
